Start judicial collection procedure
If it turns out that you have a strong case, you can proceed with the judicial collection process. We’ll start to work for you immediately. We supervise the process from the preparation of the summons to the announcement of the verdict.
After the verdict we monitor the process with our bailiff. Because unfortunately, the payment isn’t always handed over immediately once the judge has ruled the case.
The moment a verdict has been announced, it means that you have the legal right to receive payment and that your debtor owes a certain amount to you. But then you’re only halfway there: The verdict is in, but the money is yet to be received.
How long does the judicial collection procedure take?
The length of legal proceedings is difficult to estimate and can take from 1 month to 4 to 5 months. This also depends on the cooperation and capital position of your debtor. If it does have substantial assets, the process can be much faster.
If a claim is not immediately collected, the question remains whether it will ever be paid in full. We will give you thorough legal advice in advance on the basis of which you can decide whether it makes sense (financially) to start legal proceedings or not and whether it will mean a lengthy process.
The most important question: What does it cost to start legal proceedings?
Conducting a lawsuit is not just something: starting a procedure simply costs money. This includes court fees, authorized representative’s salary, costs for drawing up and issuing the summons, the judgment and finally costs that the bailiff incurs in the execution process.
If you have a claim that has never been the subject of a defense, it is possible thanks to special price agreements with our bailiffs to start legal proceedings at greatly reduced all-in rates, so that you know in advance what the maximum costs are. A unique, highly competitive formula that we call our summons-without-worry procedure: No surprises afterwards and at an unbeatable price. Contact us for further information.
